Mrs. Carol Elaine Gray Kissane

Mrs. Carol Elaine Gray Kissane, 73, of Columbus, GA passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm (EST) on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Willie Martin officiating. There will be no formal visitation.

Mrs. Kissane was born July 20, 1947 in Montgomery, AL, daughter of the late James E. Gray and Sarah Louise Spires Gray.  She worked many years in the clothing retail business.  Mrs. Kissane’s passion was spending time with her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sue Gray and a brother, Euell Gray.

She is survived by a daughter, Tina Kissane Schmucker of Columbus, GA; two sons, Tommy Kissane of Columbus, GA and Paul Kissane and wife Dana of Pittsburg, PA; a sister, Beverly Janice Garland and husband Richard of Columbus, GA; two brothers, Joel Gray of Salem, AL and Jack Gray and Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Steen, Derrick Steen, Gary Steen, Kayla Schmucker, Sydney Kissane and Kendall Kissane; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
