Carol Jeanette Richardson

Carol Richardson, 59, of Columbus, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, 4500 St Marys Rd, Columbus, GA on Monday, April 5, 2021 beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Ricky Ward officiating. In keeping with efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be observed and facemasks will be required.

Carol was born on March 20, 1962 in Morenci, Michigan to the late Mahlou Everett Johnson and Pearl Pauline Johnson. She proudly served her country in the United States Army and was currently employed with Spring Harbor where she worked as a CNA.

Other than her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Richardson.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Richardson (Reginald) of Columbus, GA; sons, David Richardson of Columbus, GA and Albert Richardson (Charmaine) of Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Connie Morgan, Cindy Johnson; brothers, Clifford Johnson (Michelle), Curtis Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Christopher Johnson; grandchildren, Shateria Richardson, Allyssa Johnson, Albert E. Richardson, Jr., Javonte Williams, Makiya Richardson, Jomari Richardson, and Reginald A. Champion, Jr.
