Carol L. Hass

Carol L. Hass, 73, of Columbus, GA passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Thursday, September 23, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Danny Courtney officiating. The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In keeping with efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be observed and facemasks will be required.

Carol was born on October 9, 1947 in Meridian, MS to the late Charles and Barbara Johnson. She was a homemaker. Other than her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband William A. Hass and brothers, Edward Johnson and Charles Johnson.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara “Lynette” Cutts (Randall) of Midland, GA and Theresa Pruitt (Allen) of Columbus, GA; son Patrick Johnson (Alan Segers) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren: Clara Dickerson, Andrew Dickerson, Riley Cutts, and William Clegg; great-grandchildren: Maelyn, Greyson, Zayn, and Liam; bonus daughter, Andrea Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
