Carolyn Faulk

Carolyn Adkinson Faulk, 79, of Phenix City, AL passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 27, 2018 at Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm EST Friday, March 2, 2018 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home (Vance Memorial Chapel) in Phenix City with Rev. R G Blackwell officiating. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Faulk was born June 2, 1938 in Barbour County, AL to the late John D. Adkinson and Jennie Henderson Adkinson.  She had worked with Edgar Hughston Builder, Inc. with 20 plus years of service as an office manager and now retired.  She was member of Seale Road Baptist Church in Phenix City and enjoyed participating in her Sunday School class.  She enjoyed reading, and spending quality time with all her family and especially her grandchildren.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Donald Faulk, Sr., a brother, John C. Adkinson, a sister, Imogene Seaborn, and a grandson, Charlie Brown, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Faulk Davis and husband Mitch, and Dawn Faulk Brown, three sons, Gerald Donald “Jerry” Faulk, Jr. and wife Marie, Terry Faulk, and John Faulk, all of Phenix City, AL; (5) grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Tori, Ally, and Jerry III, and one precious great granddaughter, Ava, numerous other loving extended family members, and many caring friends.
