Catherine Elizabeth Brown Moon, 70, of Columbus, GA passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at River Towne Center in Columbus, GA.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 am EST Friday morning, December 18, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.  A private interment will be held a later date.

Cathy was born December 4, 1945 in Columbus, GA. Daughter of the late Elmer Brown and Mary Virginia Moody Brown.  She was employed with AT&T and a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed traveling, watching tv and visiting family and friends.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Brown Hysmith, brother in law’s, Alvin Cook, and Dennie Cannon.

She is survived by her sisters, Eunice Lynne Brown Cook of Phenix City, AL, and Rebecca Ann Brown Harris of Morgan City, LA, brother, William Koyiades of Pensacola, FL, brother in law, David Hysmith of Phenix City, AL, nephews, Zachary Simmons, Jeff Cook (Michele), Kalep Cook, Kody Cook, and Justin Hysmith, all of Phenix City, AL, nieces, Amber Campbell, Keisha Cook Campbell, and Mary Kathryn Hysmith Danford (Brandon), all of Phenix City, AL, Jennifer Harris, and Mallory Harris of Morgan City, LA.
