Cathryn Virginia Harden

Cathryn Virginia Bundrick Harden, 88, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00am EST at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Highway 431 North Phenix City, AL 36867, with Reverend Ronnie Knighton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Ms. Harden was born in Goshen, AL the daughter of the late George William Bundrick and Collie Mae Bundrick. She later came to Phenix City, AL and worked for Bell South as a Plant Operator for over thirty two and a half years. Ms. Harden remained active for many years after her retirement in Telephone Pioneers and Communications Workers of America. She was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church. Ms. Harden was an accomplished piano player and was the church pianist for St. James Freewill Baptist Church and also played for her church group at area nursing homes. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the time she spent with her family.

Ms. Harden is preceded in death by her husband of 4 years Isaac Jacob Harden, Jr; sisters Margaret Bundrick Scarbrough, Joan Bundrick Martin, Eathell Bundrick Lewey and Robbie Mae Bundrick Lloyd; two brothers William Rowe Bundrick and Andrew Thomas Bundrick.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Cathy Harden Turner and husband Milton of Ellijay, GA; one son Jerry DeWayne Harden and wife Jill of Smiths Station, AL; grandchildren Nick Stewart and wife Mandy, Jessica Francois and husband Mark and Jennifer Harden; great grandchildren Isaiah Roberts, Turner Harrison Stewart, Dawn Jillian Francois and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
