Charles "Charlie" Tallman Metcalfe

Charles “Charlie” Tallman Metcalfe, 88, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

At the time of his death, Charlie was residing in Pittsview, AL.  He was born in and lived most of his life in Birmingham, AL.  He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and had his own film producing business.

He was preceded in death by his mother, May Tallman Metcalfe, father, John Metcalfe, Sr., his wives, Polly Henley Metcalfe, and Elaine Tucker Metcalfe, daughter, Jan Henley, brother, John Metcalfe, Jr., sister-in-law, Rosa Pitts Metcalfe, and great nephew, John Kite.

He is survived by niece Patricia (Patti) Metcalfe Harris, great nephews, Ashley Kite (wife, Kim), Larry Kite (wife, Catherine), great-great nephews, Dylan and Metcalfe and great niece, Lilly, and step-daughters, Beth Cavano, Susan Beaty, Paula Mckenzie and Melaine Maddox and canine companion, Prissy.
