Charles “Kenneth” Richardson, 87, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.Mr. Richardson was born May 7, 1929 in Columbus, GA to the late Robert Lincoln Richardson and Annie Lucille Grant Richardson. He had worked with Burnham Van Moving Service in Columbus, GA and had 30 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served as an MP during the Korean War. He enjoyed art painting, and the ministry of witnessing about Jehovah God, His Son, Jesus and His Kingdom. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Phenix City West Congregation.He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Georgia Nell Fiquett Richardson of Phenix City, AL, son, Jeffrey “Jeff” Charles Richardson of Phenix City, AL, two sisters, Annie Jean Carr of Sanford, FL, and Shirley Ann Smith of Phenix City, AL, one, brother, James Robert Richardson and wife Linda of Franklin, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.A celebration of life memorial service is to held 2:00 pm EST Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3755 South Seale Road in Phenix City with Bro. Ricky Wood officiating. A private interment will be held at a late date. The family will receive friends after the service at the Ladonia Elementary School Gym.
