Cheryl Dianne Lipscomb

Cheryl Dianne Lipscomb, 71, of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Columbus Hospice House.  A funeral service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, August 24, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST.  The interment will conclude the service at Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  

Mrs. Lipscomb was born October 19, 1946 to the parents of Milton Davis and Mary Grace Williams Lehner.  She was an office manager and a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and reading. 

Other than her parents, Mrs. Lipscomb is predeceased by a son, Matthew Seth Crosby and a brother, Phillip Davis.

Survivors include two daughters:  Mary Wahlert (Richard) of Waverly Hall, GA and Courtenay Durham of Columbus, GA; three sisters:  Donna Alexander (Richard) of Columbus, GA, Delaine Scarborough of Columbus, GA and Lisa Edmonds of Panama City, FL; one brother, Jeff Davis (Kathy) of Darien, GA; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia at 5156 River Rd Ste M, Columbus, GA 31904 or to the Columbus Hospice House at 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA  31909.
