Christabel "Grace" Allen

Christabel Grace Allen, 84, of Columbus, GA passed away early Thursday morning, May 24, 2018 at Sr. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A celebration of life memorial service is to be conducted at a later date by her loving family.

Grace was born December 25, 1933 in Warwrick  Warwickshire, England to the late James Cartwright and Violet Eliza Neal Cartwright.  She had worked as a bookkeeper with a local pharmacy.  She enjoyed the many blessings that surrounded her life and loved her family dearly.  She was a lady of great character and enjoyed gardening and painting/sketching.  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Thompson and husband Daniel of Silverdale, WA, and a son, James Allen and wife Theresa of Tarrs, PA, two sisters, Joan Banning of Leamington Spa, England, and Vera Parker of Columbus, GA; (7) grandchildren, Daniel Dressler, Phoebe Thompson, Justin Puffinburger, Jimmy Allen, Austin Puffinburger, Jonathan Puffinburger, and Katie Allen, one precious great granddaughter, Alanda Puffinburger, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Salvation Army, Columbus, GA in memory of Ms. Christabel "Grace" Allen.
