Christian Brian (Bubba) Couch
On Thursday, January 6, 2022, Christian Couch, known to all as “Bubba”, passed from this earth to join loved ones in heaven with God, our Father. His time here was cut shorter than expected, but what a joy to know he is happy and at peace.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, Alabama. The Rev Robb Goodman will be officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
Bubba (43) was born on March 16, 1978 to Kim Bailey Larimore and Donn Madison Couch, Sr. in Atlanta, Ga, although he spent most of his life in Phenix City and called it home.
Christian was a friend to everyone he met…and he never met a stranger. He was probably known most for his smile and laugh. They were infectious and contagious and just two of the many things that made him stand above others. You could not be around him and not feel better than you did before he arrived. His heart and compassion for others were truly a gift from God.
Spending time outdoors was something he really enjoyed. it didn’t matter if he was fishing, hunting, or riding the 3 wheeler that he was just built from the ground up, just being able to spend that time with family and / or friends was what made him the happiest.
Bubba’s life here on earth, will be greatly missed, but the joy he brought to everyone will never be overlooked or forgotten. He made life fun and leaves us with the most beautiful memories that anyone could ask for. Bubba Couch was one of a kind!!!

Other family members that held a very special place in his heart are his cousin, Patrick Bailey and his niece, Madi Larimore.
Bubba is preceded in death by his grandparents Don (PawPaw) and Dot (GeeMaw) Bailey and Doug and Frances Couch.
