Christine Wright Reubin

Christine Wright Reubin, 80, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.  A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, 4500 Saint Marys Rd, Columbus, GA on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. (EST).  The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (EST).

Christine was born on August 25, 1938 in Junction City, GA to the late Frank and Lizzie Wright.  She was employed for many years at Coca-Cola.  Christine was a very caring and giving person.  Her greatest joy came from her family who she loved and cherished.  

Other than her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Emil “Joe” Reubin; sister, Gladys Slusher; brothers, Larry Wright and Jessie James Wright.

Survivors include her daughter, Teddi Carter (Charles); son, John Durian; sister, Lucille Wright; brothers, C.J. Wright and Frank Wright; grandchildren, Amanda Durian (Steve Vanlanen), Joseph Durian, Christy Grigsby, Micheal Woodham (Jenny), Ben Carter (Mallory); great-grandchildren, John Paul Grigsby, Brayen Grigsby, Raylan Woodham, Reese Woodham, Benny Carter, Levi Carter, Tinsley Carter.
