Christopher Don Trew, 56, of Rossville, GA passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 peacefully at his home.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Grace Freewill Baptist Church, 2101 18th Place in Phenix City, with Pastor Ricky Ward officiating, according to Vance Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3-4 at the church.
Chris was born May 6, 1961 to Catherine Carr Terry and the late Billy Trew. He graduated from Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, TN in 1979. He was a member of “Who’s Who of American High School Students” and was the self-proclaimed “King of Useless Knowledge”. He retired from Vectorply, of Phenix City, in 2012. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed both Auburn and Tennessee Football. Chris was a loving father and grandfather and cherished every minute spent with his family.
Other than his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Jack Carr and grandfather Bill Trew.
He is survived by his son, Chase Trew and his wife Robyn; daughter, Courtney Trew; mother, Catherine Carr Terry; grandmother, Wilda Trew; sisters, Kelley, Rhonda, Jackie and brother, Clay Terry; grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Baleigh, Melanie, Kingslee and Charlotte and loving ex-wife Donna Trew; many extended family and caring friends.
