Clarence O. Taylor, Iii

Clarence O. Taylor, III, 74, of Columbus, GA passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at his residence in Columbus.  A private funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA.  The family will receive friends Saturday, July 01, 2017 at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Mr. Taylor was born January 15, 1943 in Manchester, GA to the late Clarence O. Taylor, II and Jessie Gill Taylor.  He was a devoted private family man, but also an outgoing gregarious individual.  He absolutely loved people and could make the most somber laugh.  Now, he will eternally be free of pain, no more shuffling but will dance with the best of them.  He will be joyful forever more awaiting the arrival of his most cherished. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela S. Taylor; two sons, Clarence O. Taylor IV and wife, Alicia Nanette, and Robert Wayne Taylor and wife, Veronica Yong; two grandchildren, Margaret Clare Taylor and Sophie Louise Taylor; as well as three sisters and one brother.  Clarence is also survived by his unofficial adopted son, Michael Page and his wife, Cindy Kay and their two children, Sarah Katherine and Evan Michael. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Jude's in Mr. Taylor's name.
