Clifford Green, Iii

Clifford Green, III, 64, of Smiths Station, AL passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Kindred Hospice in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Skip Speed officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 9, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Vance Memorial Chapel, Phenix City, AL. 

Mr. Green was born November 20, 1953 in Phenix City, AL, son of Quilie Dolton Green and the late Clifford “Sonnie” Green.  He owned and operated Green’s Cabinet Shop for over thirty years.  Mr. Green loved woodworking, working on cars and traveling with his wife.  Additionally, he was a family man that loved spending time with his daughter, grandchildren and all of his extended family.  Mr. Green was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Chruch.

Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Ann Horton Green.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Green is survived by a daughter, Danielle Maddox and husband Zeb of Smiths Station, AL; grandchildren, Alexandria and Zayne;a sister, Ardis Heath and husband Harold of Crawford, AL; a very special friend of the family, Michele Smith; several nieces, nephews, many extended family members and caring friends.
