Clinton Leonard Hurst, a devoted family man and Building Manager at a warehouse, passed away at the age of 44 in Piedmont Columbus Midtown, Columbus, GA on Friday, March 15, 2024. Born on January 17, 1980, in Columbus, GA to Larry Hurst and the late Leonardine “Lynn” Merritt Hurst, Clinton's life was one marked by passion and love.
Known for his enthusiasm for Alabama Football and the Chicago Cubs, as well as his love for riding his Harley through the open roads and pursuing hunting and fishing adventures, Clinton was a man of diverse interests. He found joy in the camaraderie of his riding group and cherished every moment spent indulging in his favorite pastimes.
However, above all else, Clinton treasured his family. His wife, Tasha Carter Gallegos; daughters Jade Miller (and husband Draven) and Johana Hurst; son Jacob Sprouse; and the mother of Johana, Jenie Jones were at the center of his world. Besides his immediate family, Clinton was also survived by dear friends whom he considered brothers - Jacob and Jeb - along with a host of other beloved family members and friends.
A Service of Remembrance to honor Clinton's life will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL. As we remember him fondly, let us carry forward the memories of the joyous times spent with him that will forever remain in our hearts.
