Colter Hamilton Richard

Colter Hamilton Richard, 45, of Smiths Station, AL passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in Northport, AL.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10:00 until 12:00 EST at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL.

Colter was born in Honolulu, HI son of Chip Richard and the late Martha Lowry Richard.  He worked as a Territory Manager for Ron Wallace and Associates.  Colter was a Master Mason serving in the Wilson Williams Masonic Lodge and was also a member of the Alcazar Shriners.  His passions in life include being outdoors in nature, Auburn Tiger football, and his wife and daughters.

In addition to his father Chip Richard and step-mother Gerri Richard of Cody, WY, he is survived by his loving wife, Rachael Floyd Richard; three daughters, Hannah Gayle Richard, Bailey Jayne Richard and Layken Hughes Richard, all of Smiths Station, AL; two sisters, Jodie Thompson (Marc) and Jacque Cobourn (Casey) all of Cody, WY; in-laws, C. F. Floyd II DMD (Gayle), Cy Floyd (Michelle) and Taylor Floyd all of Phenix City, AL; several loving nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends.

Colt’s final resting place will be in the beloved mountains of Wyoming.
