Connie Lee Parks

Mrs. Connie Lee Parks, 82, of Upatoi, Georgia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Columbus Hospice House on February 6, 2016.   A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST.  Pastor Danny Courtney will be officiating. The committal service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, prior to the service, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. EST.

Connie Lee Parks was born February 5, 1934 in Columbus, Georgia to the late William Earl and Ola Mae McQuinn.  Other than her parents Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Parks, a sister, Shirley Kirkland, and a brother, Lamar McQuinn.  She is retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company.

Survivors include  three daughters:  Deborah Toney of Columbus, Georgia, Kathy Hammock and husband, Rob of Upatoi, Georgia, and Tammy Heath of LaGrange, Georgia; two sons:  Danny Dillard of Columbus, Georgia, and Darrell Wayne Parks and wife, Debbie of Catersville, Georgia; twelve grandchildren and eleven great  grandchildren.
