Connie Lee Thompson

Connie Lee Thompson, 55, of Seale, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am (EST), Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431N, Phenix City, Alabama with Reverend Derrick Millirons officiating. A Committal Service and interment at Lakeview Memory Gardens will follow. The family will receive friends Monday, November 22, 2021, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

Connie was born on March 22, 1966, in Phenix City, AL, the daughter of the late Conrad Thompson and Clara “Nell” Thompson. She worked at Rush Truck Center for years until her failing health disabled her. Connie was Baptist by faith and a member of Woodland Baptist Church. As a young adult, she loved barrel racing, showing horses, and Alabama Football. Connie loved her family, she was always smiling and laughing with them. She taught her children by example to love unconditionally. Connie had a heart for helping others and will always be in the hearts and minds of those that knew and loved her.

Connie is preceded in death by her father, Conrad Thompson, and mother, Nell Thompson.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Corey) Culberson; son, Ricky (Hayley) Bowers Jr.; four sisters, Lisa Thompson, Tammy (Ken) Ziss, Jeanie Thompson, and Belinda Thompson; two brothers, Tommy Thompson, and Conrad Thompson, Jr.; three grandsons, Ricky Bowers, Ryatt Bowers, and Brayden Culberson; two granddaughters, Avery Culberson and Aubrey Bowers; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
