Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Grogg

Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Grogg passed away at home on Sunday, May 10, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm EDT Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Dr. Wayne Scarborough officiating. A private interment will be held a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cindy was born on December 13, 1964 in Columbus, GA. Growing up, Cindy enjoyed bowling, bike riding, softball, and was an avid reader. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. Cindy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Michael Grogg; her children, Ashely, Michael, Michelle, and Amber, her mother, Betty Medley Wood; two brothers, James and Woody, and two sisters, Arden and Gloria. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to the Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909 in memory of Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Grogg.
