Cynthia Regenia Smith

Cynthia Regenia Harrison Smith, 68, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA after bravely fighting stage four cancer for the past year.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm EDT on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. David Wilson and Rev. Gerald Corbin officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home.  Serving as pallbearers are, Kenneth Summers, Michael Teal, Ricky GreenHaw, Robby Tidwell, Ronnie Tidwell, and Anthony Oliver.

Cynthia was born February 3, 1949 in Columbus, GA to the late James William Harrison and Lucy Mae Cannon Harrison-Tidwell.  She was an entrepreneur in the local surrounding area.  She cherished family, and enjoyed visiting Biloxi, traveling, antiquing, and adored her animals.  She was Baptist by faith.  Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Angela Marie Mann.

She is survived by her son, James “Darren” Little, two sisters, Sandra Golden, and Myra Tidwell, one grandson, Jeremy Beckwith, and one great granddaughter, Breanna, nieces, and nephews, Rhonda, Denise, Robby, Lisa, Franky, Tonya, Ricky, and several great nieces and nephews, two very special friends, Judy and Mark, and numerous other caring friends.  Online condolences may be shared at www.vancememorialchapel.net
