Dan H. Williams

Dan H. Williams, 83, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with his Lord on July 8, 2021, at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama while surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am EST on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home located at 3738 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867, with the Rev. Eugene Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mr. Williams was born on November 17, 1937, the son of the late David Johnson Williams and Nancy Deese Williams. He worked most his career as a Fixer for Swift Textiles Mills in Columbus, GA. Mr. Williams enjoyed playing the guitar and singing southern gospel music with his friends and family. He also enjoyed gardening, camping, and especially spending time with his family. He was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 62 years Carleen Burnham Williams; two sons Ronnie Williams and his wife Kelli of Phenix City, AL and John Williams and his wife Cynthia of Salem, AL; two sisters Janice Brooks of Eufaula, AL, and Francis Ray of Crawford, AL; two brothers David Williams and his wife Mae of Phenix City, AL and Douglas Williams and his wife Virginia of Phenix City, AL; two grandchildren Brittany Ziebach and her husband Adam of Sulfur, LA and Kaleigh Williams and Patrick of Orange County, CA; one great grandson Keenan Williams; one future great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
