Daniel Lee Brown

Daniel Lee Brown, 44 of  Ft. Mitchell, AL passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Rhodes officiating.  Interment, with military honors, will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 until 6:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

Daniel was born February 25, 1972 in Phenix City, AL son of the late William Douglas Brown and Rosalind Hammock Brown.  He worked as a Production Operator at West Rock in Cottonton, AL.  Daniel served his country in the National Guard for over 26 years.  He was activated three times, serving in Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Pakistan.  Daniel was a member of Cottonton Baptist Church and was an avid Alabama fan.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Coleton Brown.

He is survived by daughters, Danielle Rae Brown and Rachel Catherine Brown Price, both of Ft. Mitchell, AL; a son, Joshua Lee Brown Price of Ft. Mitchell, AL; step-children, Branden Mark Earl Brown, Mackenzie Brown and Bryce Brown, all of Ft. Mitchell, AL; four brothers, William David Brown of OH, Robert “Bobby” Brown of Phenix City, AL, James Douglas Brown of Smiths Station, AL and Tommy Dwayne Brown and wife Stephanie of Phenix City, AL; William Jay Krebbs who was just like a brother; eleven nieces and nephews; several extended family members and many caring friends
