Danny Lee Burkett

Danny Lee Burkett, born on January 30, 1987, in Columbus, Georgia, left this world far too soon on March 23, 2025, but leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. A Celebration of Life for Danny Lee Burkett will take place beginning at 4:00 PM on Friday March 28, 2025, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Danny was a kind and gentle soul whose spirit shone brightly in the lives of all who knew him. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with others; he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. An avid outdoorsman, Danny felt most at peace when surrounded by the beauty of nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he had the opportunity.

Danny was immensely proud of his daughters, Isabella, Serenity, and Kinsley, whom he adored with all his heart. Each of them was truly a Daddy's Girl, and he cherished the joy of being their father.

Danny is survived by his daughters Isabella Wyatt, Serenity Burkett, and Kinsley Burkett; wife Victoria Wyatt; his brothers Billy Burkett (Melissa) and Mason Burkett, with whom he shared a special bond; Aunt Cindy Smith (Sheree) and Uncles Billy John Burkes (Dera), Joel Smith, James Burkett (Tracy), and Kenneth Burkett, along with several cousins who will always remember the laughter and love he brought into their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Burkett Sr. and Tracey Stillwell Burkett. Danny is also reunited in eternity with his son Gavin Lee Burkett.

Danny leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. In this time of mourning, those that love him will also celebrate the joy he brought and the warmth he shared with each of them. He will be deeply missed but forever held in their hearts.
