Datha "Grace" Linton

Datha “Grace” White Linton, of Arlington, WA and formally of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Arlington Heath Care in Arlington, WA.

Funeral services will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home (Vance Memorial Chapel) in Phenix City on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm EST with Rev. Emory Evans officiating.  Interment will follow at Crawford Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Linton was born June 11, 1938 in Sardis, AL to the late Lucian White and Clyde Bell Brown Young.  She was retired from West Point Pepperell with many years of loyal service.  She was a member of Arlington Assembly of God Church and a former member of Faith Temple Assembly of God Church in Phenix City.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Rowden Linton, a son, Joseph B. Linton, daughter, Clyde Lois Linton, and a grandson, Jason Holloway.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Holloway of Arlington, WA, two brothers, Charles White, and Lee White, (2) grandchildren, Mike Holloway (Esmeralda), and Rowdy Holloway (Barbara), (9) great grandchildren, Shanna, Elizabeth, Christine, Gavin, Casey, Riley, Kaleb, Gabrial, and Emerald; and host of extended loving family, church family, and many caring friends.
