David Lawrence Belisle, 70, of Salem, AL passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Cheaha State Park.
A celebration of life for family and friends will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 1754 Lee Rd 348, Salem, AL 36874.
Mr. Belisle was born July 27, 1947, son of the late Eddie C. Belisle and Bonza Mote Belisle. He had worked as a supervisor for JTM for over 32 years and was still working with them part-time. Mr. Belisle was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a very giving person that never met a stranger.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his biological mother, Lillian Summers; a sister, Patricia Hicks.
Mr. Belisle is survived by his loving wife Vicki Sumner Belisle of Salem, AL; a daughter, Brandi Day and husband Gene of Phenix City, AL; a son, Brandon Belisle of Salem, AL; grandchildren, Gage Day “Buckshot”, Brittany Cofield (Tyler) and Becka Day; Sisters, Catherine Dixon (Charles), Laura Giles, Queen Rodriguez, Lorraine Hicks (Vernon), Debbie Brown (Tom) and Judy Serio (Gregg); the extended St. Belisle family, many caring friends and his dog Lexi Baby.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
