David Lonnie Horne, Sr.

David Lonnie Horne, Sr., 60, of Cartersville, GA, and formally of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 while at his home in Cartersville.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am EST Thursday morning at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Dr. Ray Cummings officiating.  The family will receive friends at the graveside from 10:00 to 11:00 am EST prior to the service.

David was born August 10, 1956 in Columbus, GA to the late Lonnie Watkins Horne and Murriel Noles Horne.  He was a Sales Representative with Terry Reid Buick-GMC in Cartersville, GA.  He enjoyed fishing, Alabama football, and working.  He was a Christian by faith.

He is survived by three sons, David “Davey” Lonnie Horne, Jr. and wife Amanda of Columbus, GA, Lance Horne and wife Tressa of Cataula, GA, and Noles Horne of Auburn, AL; one sister, Cindy Lyall and husband Bill of Alpharetta, GA, two brothers, Mark Horne and wife Nicole of Upatoi, GA, and Randy Horne and wife Jan of Smiths Station, AL; grandchildren, Gabriel Horne, Dustin Horne, Braedon Clows, Caleb Clows, Makayla Clows, Barrett Horne, Blaine Horne, and River Horne, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
