David "Mark" Goins, Sr.

David “Mark” Goins, Sr., 56, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm EST, on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, Thursday before the service.

Mark was born on March 6, 1960, in Phenix City, AL, the son of W.L. Goins and Dorothy Saggus Goins. He was a graduate of Central High School and the proud owner of D&M Carpentry.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Mallory Goins.

He is survived by his son, David Goins of Phenix City, AL; two grandchildren, Robert Colton Goins and Mallory Grace Goins; siblings, Mike Goins and wife Jan, Becky Benton, Drew Goins and wife Becky, and Beverly Thurmond; aunt, Joyce Hightower Crosby; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many caring friends.
