Debra R. Wangle

Debra R. Wangle, 65, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 surrounded by her family at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia. A celebration of Debra’s life will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia.

Debra was born on August 19, 1956, in Fort Monmouth, NJ, the daughter of Robert J Fare and Jackie Sue Jackson. She worked for Wells Fargo as a Sr. Registered Client Associate. Debra was Baptist by faith and was a member of Golden Acres Baptist Church in Phenix City, AL, where she loved her prayer group. She also enjoyed her Harley Davidson group and volunteering with the March of Dimes walk. Debra was a Tiger Fan and an animal advocate. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Debra is preceded in death by her father Robert J Fare, mother Jackie Sue Jackson and sister Sharon Chapman.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 21 years, Andy Wangle; son, Zach (Cheyenne) Weaver; two daughters, Andrea Lampkin (Chris Chriswell) and April (David) Stern; brother, Charles (Sherry) Fare; three grandsons, Brayden Lampkin, Matthew Lampkin, and Parker Stern; granddaughter, Annsley Lampkin; special nieces, Jackie (Josh) Owens and Toni (Jim) Duke; special nephews, Thomas (Miranda) Davis, Jason Fare and Dan (Fawn) Fare; great-nieces, Samantha (Craig) Shanks, Rylee Davis, Jaci Davis, and Bailey Owens; special friends, Denise Ladner, Ann Whipple and Diane Sherwood; as well as countless other nephews, nieces, extended family and caring friends.
