Deidre Joyce Glovan, 71, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her residence. A memorial service will be held at Pikes Peak Bikers Church in Colorado Springs, CO at a later date. Pastor Jayme Pezoldt will be officiating.
Deidre was born on July 24, 1947 in Phenix City, AL to Pete and Georgia Roper. She worked for many years in the medical billing department of Apria Health Center. Deidre enjoyed bowling and spending time in the great outdoors. Whether it was a quick trip to the pond for fishing, a weekend camping trip, or traveling to new and exciting places, she loved sharing these times with her husband, who was the love of her life. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family but will always hold a special place in their hearts.
Deidre is preceded in death by her father, Pete Roper; son, Michael Joseph Glovan, Jr.; and brother, Darryl Roper.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Michael Joseph Glovan, Sr.; daughters, Sondra Glovan-Roderick (Mark) of Colorado Springs, CO and Yvonne Michele Kren; brothers, Larry Roper (Linda) of Phenix City, AL and Brent Roper of Katie, TX; grandchildren, Devin Kren, Jared Harnick, Sierra Glovan and Michaela Glovan; and fur babies, Autumn and Summer.
