Delilah Robinson Smith, 94 of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Saturday, January 9, 2015, at Vance Memorial Chapel, with Brother Randy Comer officiating. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.
Ms. Smith was born on September 24, 1921, in Coosa County, the daughter of the late Chandler and Mamie Robinson. She was 51 year member of the Columbus Chapter #261 and a Past Worth Matron of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed and taught ceramics at her shop, A&E Ceramics. Delilah was a devoted Christian who loved her family dearly and a member of River of Life Church.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Eugene Smith, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by 2 loving daughters, Barbara Anthony, husband Denman and Martha Bowden, husband Bobby; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; 4 grandchildren, Keith Bowden, Carl Bowden, Dustin Bowden and Janet Lovett; 14 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and many caring friends.
