Derrill Efurd

Derrill Carl Efurd, 65, Columbus, GA passed away Monday August 5, 2013 at Columbus Regional Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, 2013, beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. Derrill Carl Efurd was born March 20, 1948 in Eufaula, AL, son to the late Duward Dean Efurd and Bessie Brown Efurd. Mr. Efurd retired from Swift Mills and he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. Other than his parents, Derrill is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Gail Efurd. Survivors include, two sons, Richard Derrill Efurd, and partner Joey Kelso, of Maryville, TN and Bryan Keith Efurd of Columbus, GA; three brothers, Edward Dean Efurd, of Phenix City, AL, Dennis Ray Efurd, and wife Joyce, of Cottonwood, AL, and Brady Delma Efurd, and wife, Becky, of Columbus, GA.
