Dianne Locklar

Dianne Satterwhite Locklar, 65, of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday November 11, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, GA.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Chapel of the Pines in Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Locklar was born August 16, 1953 in Phenix City, AL, daughter of the late William Satterwhite and Mary Turnham Satterwhite.  She worked at Savannah Court Assisted Living in Smiths Station, AL until she retired several years ago.  Mrs. Locklar enjoyed collecting Hummels and spending time with her beloved dog Bella.  However, most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Jernigan Locklar, Jr. and a sister, Dorothy Woods.

She is survived by two daughters, Courtney Anthony and husband Todd of Salem, AL and Meghan Velazquez and husband Juan of Smiths Station, AL; two sons, James Jernigan Locklar, III and wife Robbie of LaGrange, GA and Kris Locklar of Phenix City, AL; one brother, David Satterwhite and wife Deborah of Topeka, KS; grandchildren, Cameron, Cole, Aiden, Anna, McKenna, Morgan and Marley; extended family and caring friends.
