Mrs. Dixie Lee Watson Allmeroth, 89, formerly of Phenix City, AL passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm EST on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City with Rev. Emory Evans officiating. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EST, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allmeroth was born May 23, 1931 in Geneva, AL, daughter of the late Allen Jackson and Mamie Lee Jackson. She was a minister’s wife for many years and truly enjoyed serving God in that capacity. Mrs. Allmeroth enjoyed cooking and crocheting but most of all, spending time with her family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands James Watson and Harold Allmeroth; three sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Allmeroth is survived by a daughter, Linda Watson of Starke, FL; two sons, John Watson and wife Debbie of Jacksonville, FL and Christopher Watson and wife Terri of Starke, FL; one sister, Pauline Evans and husband Rev. Emory Evans of Phenix City, AL; seven grandchildren,; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and many caring friends.
