Dolores Armour Brannock

Dolores Armour Brannock, 87, of Phenix City, AL passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at The Orchard View Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Columbus, GA.  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, October 14, 2016 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST, with Dr. Tommy Henschel officiating.  The interment will conclude the service at Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 P.M.  

Mrs. Brannock was born July 10, 1929 in Phenix City, AL to the late James F. Armour and Adell Comer Armour.  She was retired from Leshaer Mills, where she worked in the wholesale retail department.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Brannock is predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert Prather Brannock; a daughter, Norma Brannock; and two brothers:  Jack Armour and James L. Armour.

Survivors include three sons:  James R. Brannock (Patsy) of Hamilton, GA, Mike L. Brannock of Ladonia, AL, and Donald W. Brannock of Allentown, PA; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
