Donna Rowell Flores, 55, of Phenix City, AL passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 surrounded by loved ones.

Fred Rowell and late Rose White Rowell celebrated the birth of their beautiful daughter on February 22, 1962 in Anniston, AL. Donna Flores grew up alongside her late brother, Jimmy Rowell living life and celebrating every moment in her own way. She became much more than a loving daughter when she met Rob Flores in 1987 and became his wife of 30 years, a mother of three sons and grandmother of seven grandchildren. Her life journey was not simple or limited. Donna Flores was a remarkable woman from her time as a writer for a local magazine, a restaurateur, a quilter, and a gardener to her incredible dedication and support to her family with her selfless donation of her kidney and devotion to the family business, Fred’s Tire.

She will be greatly missed and remembered by her husband, Rob Flores; father, Fred Rowell; sons, Wayne Alexander and wife Lily, Joseph Alexander and wife Crystal, and Lucas Flores and Lindsey; grandchildren, Aurelie, Malcolm, Abigail, Gavin, Aiven, Micah and Norah; and a loving extended family and friends.

Her family wishes to continue the celebration of her life with a memorial celebration to be held 3:00 EST Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel with visitation before the service from 2 until 3.

At a later time, her family will also be dedicating a memory garden in honor of Donna Flores, any floral arrangement provided that can be planted would be greatly appreciated.
