Donna Ann Nagem Howard

Donna Ann Nagem Howard, 76, of Phenix City, AL died peacefully while at Canterbury Nursing Facility on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00AM (EST) on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Father Ben Dallas officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. 

Mrs. Howard was born January 11, 1948, in Waterville, Maine, daughter of the late Robert Nagem and Valarie LaBonte Nagem. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Columbus, GA. Mrs. Howard had retired from the Phenix City School System where she taught mainly 5^th graders for several years. She loved to read mystery and crime novels and watch crime TV shows; however, her favorite thing was to spend time with her two grandchildren. Mrs. Howard made it a point to be with them as often as she could. 

She is now resting in peace, and we take great comfort in this. We will miss her deeply but remember her often. 

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Patrick Lynn “Pat” Howard, Sr., Phenix City, AL; son, Patrick Lynn Howard, Jr. (Kelly), Columbus, GA; one sister, Kathy Nagem Buck and one brother, Scott Nagem (Brenda); a granddaughter, Conner Howard and grandson, Allen Howard; several other family members and friends.
