Donna Jean “Jeannie” Gladney

Donna Jean “Jeannie” Quinley Gladney, 61, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at the Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm EDT Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Pastor Vernon Prather officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home. Jeannie was born January 24, 1954 in Columbus, GA to Marvin Quinley and the late Geraldine Morris Quinley. She had worked many years with Claudia's Beauty Salon in Phenix City and was a certified Cosmetologist. She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with all her grandchildren and family. She was a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church and was known as a lady of great character. She is survived by her father, Marvin Quinley and wife Judy of Columbus, GA, her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Ricky W. Gladney of Phenix City, AL, her children, Kristie Gunn and husband Steve of Smiths Station, AL, Tony Gladney and wife Brittany of Fortson, GA, and Ronnie Gladney of Smiths Station, AL, one sister, Joyce Keldie and husband Dave of Anniston, AL. (8) Grandchildren, AJ, Savannah, Makynsie, Jalen, Brooke, Shelby Grace, Grayson, and Audrey Kate, numerous other loving family members and many caring friends.
