She was born June 4, 1929 in Glenwood, AL to Jessie J. Linton and Carrie Oglesby Linton. She was a registered nurse for over 60 years, and a devoted mother of six. She cared for her husband at home until he passed away with Alzheimer’s. She was always helpful and generous to others and will be greatly missed. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John W. McCoy, son, Ernest Clifford Hadley III, and (5) brothers, J B Linton, Lance Linton, Wesley Linton, Leslie Linton, and Hasting Linton.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Lynn Coursey, Mary Lee Woods, Sarah Helen Taylor and husband Steve, Jesse Carolyn Riccio and husband Rick, and Keith Hadley; one brother, Douglas Linton and wife Patsy, (3) grandchildren, Kasey Hadley, Ernest Clifford Hadley IV., and Brandon Keith Hadley, numerous extended family members and many caring friends.
