Doty “Christy” Christina Tucker, 42, of Salem, AL, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Friday, November 13, 2015, at Epworth UMC, with Reverend Grant Parker and Reverend Robert Goodman officiating. Interment will be private and the family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Christy was born on March 2, 1973, the daughter of James Michael Tucker, Sr. and Doty Troutman Tucker. She was a graduate of both Smiths Station High School and West Alabama and was in the marching band at both schools. She was a member at Epworth UMC where she sang in the choir and was active with the Wesley Cornerstone Sunday school class.

Other than her parents she is survived by a brother, James Michael Tucker, Jr., wife Melissa of Phenix City, AL; niece Macey Tucker; nephew, Mitchell Tucker; extended family members and many caring friends
