Earlene Fuller Saunders, “PNana,” 97 of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away October 31, 2021 at Embrace Hospice.
She was born to the late Zachary Fuller and Sarah Francis Skidmore in Russellville, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy D. Saunders, Sr., four sisters and one brother.
Earlene is survived by one son, Roy D. Saunders, Jr. and two daughters, Kaye Kelley and Laura Allison. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert Kelley, John Kelley, and Patrick Kelley, Vanessa Keen and Sarah Ferreyros; nieces, Thereasa Printz, Betsy Holder, Maria Heusinkvelt, Tina Ross; nephew, Joe Ross; and three great-grandchildren.
Earlene was the owner of Lullaby Professional Employment Agency. She was a member of East Highland Methodist Church. Throughout her lifetime she was involved in several organizations in Columbus: Toastmasters, ABWA and March of Dimes. After her retirement she was employed by Columbus Hospice as their master gardener where she shared her love of people and flowers.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 13 at 2 PM at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus, GA, followed by a graveside service at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at 1:00 pm before the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to East Highland Methodist Church or Columbus Hospice.
