Edna “Faye” Walters Watford, 75, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Vance Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home.

Faye was born on July 11, 1941, in Ansley, AL, the daughter of the late Morris Aubrey Walters and Hazel Carolyn Williams Walters. Mrs. Watford truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, the loves of her life & the adventurous "sister days".

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Douglas Joe Carrell, daughter, Betty Faye Carrell, grandson, John Douglas Carrell, brother, Stanley Walters, sister, Carolyn Jordan and an infant brother, Billy Ray Walters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Jimmy Watford; son, Randy Carrell, wife Paula; sisters, Henrietta Sanders, husband Charles and Ronnell Foster, husband Bobby; brother, Chester Walters, wife Mary; grandchildren, Craig Carrell wife Tiffany, Stephanie Carrell and Linda Carrell; great grandchildren, Courtnie Moncrief and Bradley Moncrief; other extended family members and many caring friends.
