Ms. Edna Coleen Jernigan Bryan, 93, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM EST, on Monday June 6, 2022, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home with Chaplain Dean Knipe Officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 – 6:00 PM EST, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bryan was born in Phenix City, Alabama, the daughter of Shelly Jernigan and Annie Bell Whitaker Jernigan. She lived all her life in Phenix City Alabama where she co-owned with her late husband Harral Russell Bryan, Bryan’s T.V. repair. They operated the shop for over 30+ years. She was a Freewill Baptist by faith. Edna loved reading, especially the Holy Bible. She also enjoyed sewing. Above all, Ms. Bryan made every effort to love her family and enjoyed doing anything to make them happy.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ms. Bryan was preceded in death by one son Harral Ray Bryan; one sister Frances Edwards and two brothers James Jernigan and Edward Jernigan.
Ms. Bryan is survived by one son Ronny Wayne Bryan and his wife Alice of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren Kevin DeWayne Bryan, Eric Matthew Bryan and his wife Casie and Danny Ray Bryan and his wife April all of Phenix City, AL and three great grandchildren Steven Bryan, Alexis Bryan and Wade Bryan.
