Edna M. Free

Edna M. Free, 88, formerly of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday afternoon at the

Springs Assisted Living in Simpsonville, SC.

Born December 13, 1928 to the late Louis M. and Eula V. Taunton Morgan. She was

preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Free and her son, Joel K. Free.

 Survived by Reginald Phillip Free (Sandra); Sarah Long-Free; Carla F. Hill (Lee); Teena D. Royalty (Ray); seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many caring friends.

Graveside service will be held at 2 pm (EDT) on Friday, May 12 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dan Taylor and Monroe Free officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm (EDT) on Thursday, May 11 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southern Baptist Convention Women’s Missionary Union.
