Edward Allen O'Steen

Edward Allen O’Steen, 71 of Phenix City Alabama, passed away Friday March 16, 2018 at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Glenn McCall officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, March 19, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City, AL. 

Mr. O’Steen was born December 27, 1946 in St Augustine, FL, son of the late John C. and Winell O’Steen.  He owned and operated Allen’s Appliance Repair for 16 years.  Mr. O’Steen loved camping, hunting, Alabama football and spending time with his family.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Mr. O’Steen is survived by Lisa O’Steen, his wife; a daughter, Diana “Jamie” Buckner; his son, Edward Allen O’Steen Jr. and wife Kristy of Salem, AL; his son Andrew Blake O’Steen of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Alanna Andrews, Cullin O’Steen and Camden O’Steen; two sisters – Carolyn Newman and husband Frank of Smiths Station, AL, and Cindy McCall and husband Glenn of Lawrenceville, GA;  a brother, Steve O’Steen and wife Jane of Ladonia, AL; his mother in law, Mary Hamilton, of Phenix City, AL; several nieces, nephews, many extended family members and caring friends.
