Edward Gerald Robertson

Edward Gerald Robertson, 74, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at his home.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 am EST, Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm EST at Vance Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Robertson was born December 8, 1941 in Birmingham, AL to the late Albert Cyrus Robertson and Grace Martin Robertson. He was employed by Piccadilly Cafeteria for many years and managed for several other restaurants. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Harold and Jimmy Robertson.

He is survived by his son Phillip Robertson; brother, Melton Robertson and wife Patricia Campbell Robertson; sister-in-law, Sadie Robertson; nephew, Dennis Robertson and wife Lynn and three nieces, Patricia Smead and husband Richard, Theresa Mazzola and husband Anthony and Denise Murphy and husband Jeff; other extended family and many caring friends. A special thank you to the staff of Columbus Hospice for their care of Mr. Robertson over the past several weeks.
