Elaine “Crimson” Grubb

Elaine “Crimson” Grubb, 30, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2015 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Aaron Baldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 4048 Macon Road Columbus, GA 31907. Elaine was born November 17, 1984 in Columbus, GA daughter of Susan Diane Tant Grubb of Columbus, GA and the late Anthony Gray Grubb. Other than her father Elaine is preceded in death by her grandfather J.L. Tant; uncle Jack Tant; and great aunt Lucy Brownell. Survivors other than her mother include her grandmother, Betty Tant; sister, Misty and her husband Sam Althouse; brother, Marc Grubb; aunts, Madge Reed and Linda McDowell; cousins, Billy Jack Tant, Kerry Peavey, Danny Tant, Ray Dobbins, Clessie Edwards, Kandy Tant, and Jessica DiLeonardo; numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends, Sherri Priest and Jennifer Whitaker.
