Eleanor Emma Eubanks

Eleanor Emma Eubanks, 88, of Columbus, GA passed away October 25, 2014 at her residence. A memorial service will be a family gathering. Those so desiring may sign a memorial book at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. Eleanor Eubanks was born in Passaic, New Jersey daughter of the late August and Mary Armgart. Eleanor was a teacher for the Muscogee County School District teaching at Gentian Elementary School. She attended St. Matthew Lutheran Church where she was a lifetime member. Mrs. Eubanks is preceded in death by her husband Howard Eubanks, Jr. She is survived by her children, Mary Lawson and husband Dennis of Columbus, GA, Madonna Eubanks of Columbus, GA, Patricia Clark of Pittsview, AL and Howard A. Eubanks and wife Terry of seale, AL; grandchildren, Devin Lawson, Daniel Lawson, David Lawson, Heather Woolsey, and Jennifer Provenzano; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Lawson, Hayden Woolsey and Leo Provenzano. Eleanor Eubanks will forever be remembered as a wonderful compassionate woman, a devoted wife to Howard, and a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she leaves them with many memories that will last a lifetime.
