Elizabeth “Liz” Blake

Elizabeth Blake “Liz” 83 of Columbus, GA. passed away February 15, 2014, at her home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 begining at 3:00 P.M. EST, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.

 Elizabeth Blake was born February 8, 1931 in Greenville, AL. daughter of the late Joseph Milton McCormick and Annie Mae Purdue McCormick. Elizibeth graduated from Greenville High School, she laterretired from Bickerstaff Realty.
 Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Joseph Hutchison and Wade Gillispie; grandson, Shannon Lee; sister Lois Brintzenhofe.

Survivors include three daughters, Elizibeth Hutchison, Marcelle Morris, (James), and Tina Ellis (David); brother, Nolen McCormick and wife Jewel; seven grandsons; and one grand daughter; two great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews and many caring friends.
