Ella Mae Kent

Ella Mae Scott Kent, 80, of Phenix City, AL died Friday, November 17, 2017.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11am Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home on Macon Road. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery and a visitation will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 from 6-8 at Vance-Brooks.

Ella Mae was born September 9, 1937 in Phenix City, AL to the late William John Scott and Marjorie Skinner Scott. She graduated from Columbus High School and worked at her families fruit stand on Lynwood Boulevard for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Kent, daughter, LaFrantz Kent Bezio, sister, Francine Scott Bush and two grandsons, William Rick Rabion and Johnathan Scott Rabion.

Survivors include her children, William Edward Kent and wife, Robin of Upatoi, GA and Karletta Kent-Dimitri and husband Tim of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Jessica Elaine Gibson and husband Adam of Smiths, AL, Bradley Peter Rabion and wife Amanda of Phenix City, AL and Tristan David Kent of Martinsburg, WV; 6 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.
